During HSWC 2013, [[Teams#Team Noir|Team Noir]] bonus round fills could earn points for other competing teams. The hope was that this would give Team Noir incentive to participate in the bonus rounds. This rule has been removed as of HSWC 2014 because it didn't encourage much (if any) Noir activity and it creates unnecessary stress for the mods. ---- === Main Round Scoring vs. Bonus Round Scoring === Main Rounds last roughly one month, and Bonus Rounds are posted every two weeks (or, there are roughly two bonus rounds per month). Based on this, two maxed out bonus rounds (or, a solid month of team effort) is worth very slightly more than placing first in a main round (or, a solid month of team effort). Therefore, it's worth paying attention to both bonus and main rounds. Additionally: please try to leave comments on your fellow participants' entries and fills! You won't receive points for it, but they'd love to receive feedback on their hard work. ---- [[FrontPage|Return to Navigation]] |
